Meet Zeus

Zeus is a Clydesdale who we've sponsored at Clydesdale and Heavy Horse Rescue in Armidale, NSW.


Zeus is a 3 year old black and white pure Clydesdale gelding. He arrived with another 8 horses, all emaciated, very poorly treated. He was terrified of humans (as were the others) but, as reported by Julie, who takes good care of her charges at Clydesdale and Heavy Horse Rescue, "he has learned that cuddles and scratches are ALMOST as good as bread - another thing he'd never seen! He will be with us for some time while he grows out and we can continue his behavioural retraining. He is very gentle, kind to his herd mates and is a natural leader."
